This course is designed for crime analysts at all levels – entry, intermediate and advanced who want understand their role within their agencies. This course will provide the student with the necessary tools to build a solid foundation, an overview day to day tasks, navigating the law enforcement environment, best practices for effective crime and intelligence analysis and essential analytical skills. Reimbursement Plan III: Tuition for POST reimbursable agencies is $622.00. While tuition, student travel and per diem reimbursement are normally reimbursable via Training Reimbursement Request (TRR) for this course, POST has temporarily suspended tuition and travel reimbursement for all POST Plan III courses, with the exception of contract classes and those outlined in Attachment A of the POST Bulletin No. 2017-01. This course is not listed as an exempt course.
Non-Reimbursable agencies: Tuition is $622.00. There is no reimbursement for travel and per diem.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received more than ten (10) business days prior to the start of the class will not be charged. If payment has already been made, it will be refunded. Cancellations received ten (10) or less business days before the start of the class will be charged at full price. This late cancellation charge compensates RTC for the non-refundable costs incurred prior to the start date of the course.
No Shows: A No Show on the day of the class will result in a full charge for the class.
